To better understand the process of mutation and focus on its exploratory
behavior, the initial profile is successively mutated over several generations.
The initial profile provides a starting point and the lineage of mutated offspring
represents the exploration process. This helps to evaluate the exploratory behavior
of Newt. The mutation operator is defined in Section 
and the table of similar newsgroups used is shown in table .
